The Makassar Metallic Green Ball Alveopora is also commonly known as the Flower Pot Coral. Alveopora is said to be hardier than Goniopora which makes these corals a great choice. One of the easier ways to tell Alveopora from Goniopora is that Alveopora has 12 tentacles on each polyp while Goniopora has 24. Our original colony was imported directly from Jakarta and we have continuously aquacultured this coral ever since. It's a fast grower and quick to recover from cutting.
The Coral Farm frags are mounted to a fired ceramic plug or piece of rubble rock that can be mounted to your live rock with super glue gel or epoxy.
